(COMPLETE, 10/27)
Hi creator, I'm PD (pickledragon) - Happy Yuletide! This is my first time round for this exchange, so absolutely no pressure - I will be extremely excited to read anything you make, as long as you have a good time!
These are just a few optional prompts for each fandom/characters - feel free to use these ideas or follow your muse elsewhere! <3
-
Good with all mediums, ratings, and archive warnings. Romantic or gen dynamics all welcome. Treats more than welcome (I will throw hearts at them!)
(Fandom-specific musings in letter :) I’ve included some optional details/prompts, but as long as you have fun making it, I'll love it :D <3)
General Likes: Canon Compliance/Divergence (!!! <3), Hurt With Any Level of Comfort (including none!), Angst, Time Loops, Guilt, Negotiation/Difficult Decisions, Sacrifice/Redemption, Messy Emotions, Tragedies, Bittersweet/Happy Endings, Post-Apocalypse AUs, Superhero AUs, Unreliable Narrators, Experimental Formats.
Ship Likes: Getting/Getting Back Together, Break-Ups/Divorces, Femdom, Reversal of Traditional Power Dynamics (the less powerful/younger party initiating the relationship), Falling in Love, Complicated Relationships, Friends/Enemies to Lovers, Public/Semi-Public Sex (as long as they don't get caught), Fuck or Die, Consent Issues (!), Desperation, Ex Sex, Sex About Another Person But Oops: Feelings!
DNW: Slavery, Scat, Urethral Play, Pregnancy, Milking/Lactation, Oviposition, Raceplay, Sex Under Age 13, Inflation, Feeding/Stuffing, Ageplay, Vore, Non-Con Genderplay (ex: forced feminization or himbofication), Unrequested Trans Headcanons.
If any of these DNWs come up in canon, brief mentions are completely fine!
-
Slugterra: Eli Shane, Will Shane, Worldbuilding OR (Any Combination)
- The Shanes as a relationship, or as a legacy to overthrow or live up to! They kept so many secrets - from the people they trusted, like the Pors, from the people, secrecy with the Shadowclan. I love complicated legacies and the places they fit and the places they pull at.
- Your favorite cavern, or a part of Slugterra you'd love to see explored more!
- The slug tunnels/colonies, places where slugs and humans coexist, or the deep caverns filled with dark water and Darkbane betrayed. The Shadowclan's grey morality and view of themselves as the ultimate peacekeepers in Slugterra is also always so interesting to poke.
- That interplay between the Surface and the Caverns! What kinds of reasons push Slugterrans to the Surface, or vice versa? Does Eli ever go back?
- The slug tunnels/colonies, places where slugs and humans coexist, or the deep caverns filled with dark water and Darkbane betrayed. The Shadowclan's grey morality and view of themselves as the ultimate peacekeepers in Slugterra is also always so interesting to poke.
- Gang shenanigans! General adventures! Canon-era daily patrols and defense of the Caverns, or post-canon, with Will (possibly?) back in Eli's life and the whole rest of the Caverns to the East and Below open to them. Pre-canon, with Will's time as Shane or maybe learning the ropes under his brother Jimmo! The possibilities: endless.
Insignia Series: Tom Raines, Wyatt Enslow, Vik Ashwan, Yuri Sysevich
This book series is so near and dear to my heart <3. I love the world and the 'Star Trek'-esque future the series ends up in, and the final stage of capitalism we start in, with Tom, Wyatt, Vik, and Yuri all hungry and ambitious and desperate in their own ways, and falling in together to be friends anyways. They're young and dumb and care so much about each other and play pranks and make mistakes and make their own bravery.
- Missing scenes from canon! Ways their friendship struggled or flourished as cadets - the huge gap of missing time in the third book when Tom had been kidnapped and everyone else had to bite their tongues and wait for someone to find a body.
- Post-series, finally free to explore the great unknown in the rest of the galaxy! How does the world open up for them without corporate supremacy? What paths do they separate on, and how do they stay together? Small and large victories - hope, against all odds!
The Bright Sessions: Joan Bright, Samantha Barnes, Ellie Wadsworth OR (Any Combination)
Women. Womennnnn. These three ambitious, driven people who work together but would burn down the entire world piece by piece for the people they love, or the things they want. They all warn each other about the others - they all want each other for their own reasons. The chemistry of mutual manipulation or the bright spark of falling in love with someone or finding someone you'd destroy people for! Mess and love and dorkiness and experimentation and results. Fights and tension (romantic or otherwise!).
- Joan and Ellie! I'm always thinking about Joan under the AM, and how close she and Ellie were before Joan discovered a line she wasn't willing to cross, and one Ellie was. Exes! Betrayal or inevitable tragedy or not being able to stay away anyways <3.
- Sam and Joan, falling in together post-Mark (or along with ;)). Patient/Therapist confidentiality and decorum being incredibly morally grey, but they simply do not care and go after what they want anyways. Both of them trying to reinforce new structures and shapes of their lives without saving Mark or running from the past being the major pillars of their lives!
- Ellie and Sam! It's about someone else, but it's also about each other! They see alternate pathways they could have gone down in each other - that need to learn and experiment enough that you'll break something important along the way. Maybe Ellie manipulating Sam into working for the AM and believing they can fix things side-by-side, or maybe they bond over *gestures to Joan.*
Watchmen (Comic): Dan Dreiberg, Rorschach, Laurie Juspeczyk, Worldbuilding
Masks are desperately normal, broken people trying to find things to fill holes in the world and in themselves - the Crimebusters and Minutemen are all such larger than life characters that are still devastatingly flawed and incredibly human. Ending terribly or tragically or ending hapiily or ending bittersweet <3
- Crimebusters era! The Nite Owl and Rorschach partnership, and Laurie stopping by to help on a patrol. They're all young and prideful and aren't yet the people that we meet in the present day comic. What did their interactions feel like here? What would they become?
- Post-Canon! Dan and Laurie on the run, and a (dead or alive) Rorschach haunting their backs, through his published journal or through their memories or something more supernatural! How do you build an entirely new life upon the cracked foundations of something you spent 15 years wishing, despite yourself, you could do once again?
- I love the alternate reality of the comics, and the small tidbits we get of New York, as sentient a city as any other character. Alternate timeline differences are so interesting - something we saw, in a different lens, or an entirely new change that ripples outwards!
